Kostaroff Family

As our family is about to expand we wanted to create a space to share all of the upcoming adventures and pictures with those we are unable to see. Neither of us claim to be computer savvy or jouranlists so bare with the writing (or lack of!).

Pictures to Please

Easter Egg hunt at Grandpa and Grandma Kostaroff's house. Ava had a great time and made sure to promptly eat any treat tucked inside before anyone could suggest otherwise.

Ava and Phil with the toy galimoto Uncle Jim and Aunt Suzie gave her. The little guy pedals his bike as you push him along. Aunt Suzie helps out at a Fair Trade store in Michigan and is always giving the girls one of a kind gifts!

Ava pulling toy behind her. Worth mentioning why she has chosen to put toys between her legs and dance around... Phil has taught her that when she scores a goal in hockey she is to ride the stick around the room. Great. Thank you Phil.

Phil got new hockey socks that were small for him but obviously just the right size for Ave. No, she will not be playing hockey. As she is obsessed with her daddy, she has taken to his sports as well!

For A Brief Moment

Today, I must make a note of Ava's response when Phil asked who her best friend in the whole wide world was... "My momma, mommy, her (pointing to me)". Too soon, I am sure, I will be far from that! For the moment the whining, stubbornness, and stinky diapers were erased from my memory as I soaked in her loving words.

Swagbucks

Usually this blog is all about the girls, but today I am quickly promoting Swagbucks. This search engine allows you to earn points by conducting your regular searches. So far I have earned $15 in gift cards by researching things like Ainsley's illnesses... most recently Roseola. Hey, if I have to be at home playing Dr. Mom on the interenet, I might as well earn some sugar with a side of coffee at Starbucks. If you are interested in checking it out, here is a link.

On a side note, Ainsley's Roseola is progressing from the fevers into the gorgeous rash. We are in Michigan for the weekend with Phil's parents. Oddly enough, Ava also brought Roseola to Michigan when she was about a year old. Great place to break out. Highly recommended by the A's.
Go State!

From Ava's Mouth

We've been keeping busy around here... with no account for where the time has gone other than into the lives of Ava and Ainsley. The past few months have been packed with laughter and surprise at the things Ava is saying. She picks up on everything and is developing quite the sense of humor. She is indeed a chatterbox, but it takes her a while to warm up to people. Ainsley is trying to mimic Ava in as many areas as she can. They jabber back and forth all day. The newest developments for Ainsley are pulling up onto everything (especially people) and as of yesterday, climbing stairs. YIKES! She is a happy, happy baby girl and very loving. Patience has poured out of her as she deals with Ava micro-managing every aspect of her life! Here are some of Ava's more recent comments that keep us laughing.

In response to what we should get Daddy for his brithday...
1. a cat
2. panties
3. dog
4. Ava in a box
"That's all we need."

To the girl I watch on Thursday and Friday... "Sasha, take off your jammies and stay a while."

"Ainsley, but what about my asthma." - There is no signs of asthma at this time, Phil just thinks its hilarious to say that to her. And we laugh at it a lot.
