One Week Old!
Ava loves her sleep! She would sleep all night and day if she had her choice. Unfortunately, for mom and Ava, there is the detail called eating! It is a chore to be awake enough at night to feed her, let alone spend 30 minutes to get her alert enough to eat. She has her dad's skills at sleeping! Surely mom will appreciate that later on when both can sleep through the night!

Ava is beautiful. I really hope to meet her this week sometime while you are at your parents (no pressure though). I can't wait to see you too. I think Ava will become more and more alert, hang in there. You will be amazed to find that 2 months goes rather guickly and your body does adjust.
P.S. I love the name Ava. In fact, if we'd had a girl I am pretty sure her name would have been Ava. Love you, Rita
