Ava's Fun Firsts
I've been catching some slack about not updating the blog with more current pictures. Eat your hearts out! Pictures galore. Ava has been doing really well. She has been sleeping through the night pretty consistantly since she was 3 weeks old. We are pretty happy about that. Tonight, she has been a bit fussy which has kept me awake to update this blog. We aren't lacking in pictures to share since I have a photo session almost every morning with her outfit of the day and some days she models other clothes as well. Phil wonders where my time goes... it is not easy to change an infant and get the right facial expressions!
Ava's first bath. Behind the seen of this cute face is Phil changing shirts from Ava's first time to pee on her dad!
Ava's first bad hair day! And surely not her last. Hopefully she won't look like Bozo every time her hair is not cooperating!
Ava's first attempt and doing the "Sprinkler" dance move. She is pretty good, but will need more practice!
Ava's first nap with her new teddy bear. She seemed to enjoy his company, but was reminded that was a special occassion. Doctors don't recommend making stuffed animals company with sleeping infants!
Ava's first time wearing a snowsuit. She came down to about the knees of the outfit. Not a big fan of the ensemble yet, but give her time!
On the opposite end of the spectrum... Ava's first time wearing a swimsuit. She loved the suit, she was just upset we weren't headed for vacation yet. (Yes, I do dress her in things for fun! Fun for me that is, you can see she is not as big of a fan. You win some, you lose some!)
Ava's Great Great Grandma Schmidt loved spending time with her. Ava took her mom, grandma, and great grandma to Peoria, IL to get a 5 generation picture. The cutest of the crew are shown in this picture.
Ava's First Playdate! Mayiah suggested that since her baby brother was only 3 days younger than Ava, they could get married when they grow up!
Second attempt at the "Sprinkler" and already showing improvements! What a strive for perfection she has!
One of Ava's first smiles caught on camera. She is starting to smile more and more!
We hope you enjoyed the most current pictures. She is such a blessing to wake up to everyday!

Though I never mentioned it, I was sad to not find many updates here. Not that I think you have nothing to do, but I'm just dying to see more of her. So thanks for taking the time to post! She's a doll. Glad things seem to be going well.
Who knew the variety of talents wrapped up in that teeny little body. Dance Dance Revolution, watch out!
Great pics! Can't wait to meet her in person! Love her snowsuit.
